About the Challenge

Learn More About the Healthy Kids Community Challenge

The goal of the Healthy Kids Community Challenge is to support the well-being of our children. Forty-five communities across Ontario are participating in the Healthy Kids Community Challenge. The Healthy Kids Community Challenge unites communities with a common goal: promoting children’s health through physical activity and healthy eating. Every nine months, a new theme will be launched that is related to two of the key factors: healthy eating and physical activity.[1]

The Rexdale Community Health Centre (RCHC) is the lead agency implementing HKCC Rexdale. The Rexdale Community Health Centre supports and advocates for the physical, economic, social and mental wellbeing of its diverse community through primary health care, community social support, health promotion, collaborations and partnership, community development and social action. Rexdale CHC is committed to achieving a healthier community.[2] Click here to learn more about RCHC.
