Toronto officially kicked off summer at the 17th annual Toronto Ribfest at Centennial Park from June 30 until July 3. Toronto Ribfest is one of the GTA’s favourite charity events and winner of “Top 100 Festivals in Ontario” for four straight years. This year’s Ribfest was once again a runaway success. Each day offered something different for the whole family. With three stages featuring entertainment non-stop, free KidzZone activities and Toronto’s largest mobile midway, there were all kinds of fun daily attractions. The smells of BBQs were in the air and vendors worked their grills with a smile and offered delicious ribs and other fun, festival foods. The event was made possible by the Toronto Ribfest Committee, Rotary Club of Etobicoke members, sponsors, dedicated volunteers, police and other community services, vendors and of course, the thousands who attended! Through Rotary Etobicoke, 100% of all funds raised from Toronto Ribfest go to supporting humanitarian organizations here and around the world.
