Phase 3 of the Healthy Kids Community Challenge is encouraging children to Choose to Boost Veggies and Fruit! Make fruits & vegetables part of every meal and snack. The Canada Food Guide recommends that kids eat at least five servings of vegetables and fruit every day, but most children are not meeting this goal.

Produce is a rich source of vitamins, minerals, fiber and nutrients which provides kids with the overall energy they need to be physically active! Veggies & fruit are essential to kid’s health and are a great choice to satisfy hunger at any time of the day!
